Accessibility Statement

Lumen Hotel & Events is committed to digital accessibility for everyone. We continuously improve usability and apply the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This statement applies to the website and (if applicable) the booking environment of Lumen Hotel & Events.

Status of compliance with the requirements

The website went live on October 27, 2025, and does not yet fully comply with WCAG 2.2 level AA. We are actively working on improvements and aim for 100% compliance.

(Still) inaccessible content

The following points do not yet (fully) comply with WCAG 2.2 level AA and are being addressed in our improvement cycle:

Alternative text for images sometimes too short (sometimes < 5 characters); we are rewriting alt texts to describe the function/information.

Insufficient text contrast in some places; colors and states (hover/focus) are being revised.
WCAG: 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum), 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast
Visible label does not (fully) return in the accessible name; we ensure the accessible name contains the visible label.
WCAG: 2.5.3 Label in Name, 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
Form field without accessible name; we add programmatic labels/aria-labels and link label–input.
WCAG: 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions, 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
Button without accessible name; we provide all buttons with a clear name (text/aria-label).
WCAG: 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
Other points of attention that we actively monitor (e.g., focus visibility, keyboard navigation, skip links, link purposes, and semantics).

Our approach

Quick fixes for critical blockages.
Design review on color contrast and component states.
Technical updates for semantics, labels, and ARIA only where necessary.
Periodic audits and regression tests.
